As we members know, the 800 number for our use is not "free". We pay for it with our dues. I remember a few years ago they even sent out a notice reminding people not to give it out as a general information number because they were receiving quite a few non-member calls.
Now, over on the resort board there has been a person who was offered a stay at DVC by a friend/relative but is having difficulty getting them to set it up. They've taken things into their own hands to find out availability. She just posted this remark that
I think this is just not right. Why is CRO giving out 800 numbers? They could have given her the 407 number that would have connected her to MS.
