Our 4 years and 2 kids later Disneymoon TR!!! Update 7/16 Chapter 3

Chapter 3 Continued...

Finally we make it to the monorail and get out of the rain only to realize we were in the wrong line!! :rotfl: I asked a CM just to make sure and she told me to follow her, that she wasn't going to make us walk in the rain to go around because of our buttons :woohoo: At this time DH was finally realizing that wearing the buttons was a good idea, He was embarassed to wear them but I made him because I wanted this to really be like it would have been if we went to WDW right after our wedding and I would have made him wear the buttons then too!! ;)

So we made it over to Poly and explored a bit and found were the show was going to be, at this time it was still raining and we actually saw some people leaving the show area with ponchos and we asked them if they did the show and they said No they just served them dinner without the show :scared1: I was thinking to myself I'm sure the dinner is good but not worth the money we paid if we're not seeing a show. We went over to the concierge desk and asked about what happens with rain. They explained they just serve dinner and give you a 50% refund. We were fine with that.

We were sitting in the lobby when they started checking people in for the show. They took our picture and gave us ponchos (those came in handy later in the trip)
The CM said that they put up a tarp over the performance area so they may be able to do the show for our time!! It had just stopped raining shortly before that so I was keeping my fingers crossed because this 1st day was already kind of a bummer with all of the other things that happened.

We were seated for dinner and we had wonderful seats. This was waiting for us at the table....

This salad was delicous the dressing was so yummy!!

Shortly after we were seated the band walked out!!!

They were able to do the show!!! :dance3: I was so excited for this show because it was one of the things I actually remember doing my very first trip to WDW when I was 5!!!

Here are some pics from the show

We had a great time and loved the Spirit of Aloha show, yes it was kind of corny but very entertaining and the food was good. But like everyone says the Fire thrower was the best part of the show!!

It ended up being a perfect clear evening and timed perfectly because when the show ended the fireworks began and we got to watch them from the beach at Poly

I didn't take very good picture of them!!
After the fireworks we took the boat back to MK, it was really nice looking at all the sights from the boat at night, so beautiful. Then we got a wonderful surprise. The Electrical Water Pageant Parade was going on and we got to watch it right there in front of us on the boat

It was so awesome we loved it!!

Our plan was to go into MK and just use our FP's for Space Mountain but we ended up getting a second wind after dinner. When we got back into MK we noticed people lined up like there was going to be a parade so we asked a CM and she told us that they added an 11pm Spectro Magic so we decided to get a spot and watch

After that we went over to Space and rode it, we loved it my only complaint was no music the one at DLR has music while you ride but otherwise I loved it and think the coaster itself might be better!
Then we went on Buzz Lightyear which was great and I almost beat DH but I choked towards the end :lmao: I was ahead of him the whole time too I don't know what happened :confused3

We decided to call it a night after that but not without getting an ice cream to share. You see that is our tradition at DL on the way out we get and ice cream on main street. Can't break tradition right?!!! :rotfl2:

It started out like the 1st day was going to be not that great of a day but ended up being a fantastic, magical evening we had the best 1st day!! We both crashed hard that night and slept like babies refreshed for Day 2!!!

Coming Up: AK and me yelling I can't keep up just go without me!?!
