We had a wonderful time last week on the Magic!

Some of the highlights:

1. Castaway Cay--beautiful beach; good food; warm and sunny weather. Saw a stingray swimming near the shore of the family beach and even took some pictures of it.

2. Palo Brunch--great food with new friends

3. St. Croix--We did the West End Highlights tour which went to the Whim Estate Plantation; St. George Botanical Garden; and the Cruzan Rum Distillery. Although it was slightly unorganized at the very beginning, (they had to move some of us to another bus and the new bus driver and guide weren't exactly sure of the itinerary until after our first stop), we really enjoyed seeing the different sights. Would have liked more time at Whim Estate Plantation. Cruzan Rum was an interesting tour and the rum punch and pina coladas at the end were delicious.

4. St. Thomas--We did the Water Island Mountain Bike excursion. Our guide gave an interesting spiel about the sights we saw from the St. Thomas harbor as we went to Water Island. The bike ride was fun but not very challenging. You did have to be careful going down the hills due to loose rocks and potholes. Got to spend some time at Honeymoon Beach which was absolutely beautiful.

5. Our dinner companions, our online friends we met onboard, other cruisers we met and visited with, and all of the cast members including our servers, Alicia, and Tiruso, and our stateroom hostess, Glyness, made our cruise very memorable.

As others have posted, this cruise was very windy on our days at sea and Thursday, especially, the boat "rocked and rolled". It was actually soothing to feel the rocking motion in bed at night or during our couples massage.

We had a great time and are looking forward to taking advantage of the $99 bounceback offer.

If anyone has any questions, please ask....

My question is:
Did you have as much fun as me??!
Ha ha!
This cruise was the best vacation ever!

Hey Donna!

Glad that you had a great time, I wish we would have crossed paths a few more times and got to sit and have that drink of the day!
We had an awesome time, I am still fooling around with our photos and I am putting off writing out what we did each day.
I really have to do something though for the charity that sponsored Lauren's trip!
We just got a huge blast of winter today, snowed from 10pm last night until about 4 this afternoon and about 8 inches of snow! UGH just when almost all of it was gone from our south facing yard!! Oh well that is spring in the Rockies!!
Hope Dory was glad to see you and that she liked her new RCMP chew toy! :lmao:
Take care girl!
Wanda

Hi Wanda! Its good to hear from you but hate to hear that winter is still with you. UGH is right!!!! We've actually had pretty good weather since we've been home. Several days in the 60s and 70s. Dory is enjoying the nicer weather too as I take her out for long walks.

And yes, she was happy to see us!!! Our DD had picked her up from my sister's the day before we got home and she said she was so excited to be home and to play with all of her toys. But, no, she didn't get the RCMP bear--it is on a shelf in my bedroom with some other Disney memorabilia!!!

Have you checked out The Timeshare Store for DVC? Another niece of mine just bought 50 points at AKV for $90 per point. She plans to just go once every two or three years. It worked better for her to buy a resale than buying from Disney because she didn't have to buy the minimum of 160 points.

Hope your weather gets warmer in Canada!!!!!
