AWESOME. We're convinced. We've pretty much stayed at every WDW resort besides the Fort Wilderness until now. We are hooked. We had a cabin from June 3rd through the 11th. We were in love with the place before the first night was over. It was like being on two vacations at once to me. I had WDW but I also had the greatness of the Fort.

We're already checking out buying a pop up camper to tow down to WDW from now on.

Now we just ask ourselves what took us so long to go!!

So glad you enjoyed your trip to FW..............just don't tell the other "hotel" people about our wonderful little paradise.;)

There are more hotel rooms than campsites and we don't want the secret out!:goodvibes

Glad you had a great trip and welcome to the life of us lowly campers.........:cloud9:! Once you sleep in your own bed and enjoy the view from your front steps and sit and watch your kids play at the Fort, it is really hard to go back to tiny hotel rooms on the 3rd or 4th floor with people stomping above you and kids screaming below you!:thumbsup2

Camping while on Vacation, it doesn't get any better than this. Keep quiet, no one else needs to know our secret!

I am so glad to hear your first FW trip was great :goodvibes

We are hoping to make our next Disney trip a FW trip, too. :cloud9:

So glad you had a great time at the Fort and are wanting to buy a pop-up. I agree with whoever said that once you stay at the fort in your own bed with the kids playing outside and near the camper, you will find it hard to go back to a hotel room. It can't be beat! We love camping and recently when we had to go to a dance competition for our dd, our team stayed at a hotel and I just wasn't the same. I used to love hotels, until we got our camper!

I'm not sure how many photos I took while at the fort but I'll post them! I know I took a few of the cabin and at the Chip n Dale Campfire. I told my six year old daughter that we'd try to go there again next year but we needed to save money. Ever since we got back, she's been scrounging the house finding every coin she can and putting them in a big glass jar. haha She's ready to go!

Staying at the Fort makes WDW a relaxing experience!!! I think that is why every really loves it. Well, there are a few that don't...more room for us. Welcome.

Yeah, what did take you so long ?? We've been waiting !
If you didn't get to try it, sometimes you can catch a fish or two, but it's catch and release only. :thumbsup2
