Hello everyone...I'm new here. What a great site you have...it has been very interesting reading all the tricks of the trade of all you Disney addicts !! My family and I are going to Disney at the end of February and we are only going to get to do 1 day at the Magic Kingdom. I was wondering if any of you had any advice and or tips for us on this day. We are planning on going on a Wednesday. Thanks!! :)

:thumbsup2 One of the tricks we use is to get right on the Rail Road at the entrance and get off at Adventureland (the first stop). This puts you right at Pirates and Splash Mountain. Either jump right on or fast pass, then head out to the rest of the park, you usually beat the crowds if you arrive early. Have fun and welcome!

Welcome to the DisBoards! :wizard:

Definitely utilize the fast pass option. Figure out, ahead of time, what high traffic rides you really want to go on (like Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, etc...) and then get your fast passes ASAP.

Have a fun time! :yay:

Definitely use the fastpass option as much as you can, and be sure to hit the most popular rides early before the park fills up. If you are looking for autographs and photos from characters, the best time to do so would be later in the afternoon for most characters wandering in the park, otherwise close to the park close for those characters in Toontown

Make sure you are there early. Crowds start to really pick up about 2 hours after opening. If you go to SM about wait just a little bit and it thins out after the first influx.

Crowds should not be too heavy the end of February and you are going mid-week which is also great for lower crowds. You should have no problems going on all the rides.

The best advice I received from this board before I went for the first time was
don't try to see everything! You can not possible do it and if you try you and your family will likely end up miserable. Stop and soak in the atmosphere and just enjoy. You will likely be come addicted and have to go back several times anyway! We have been the last three years and still have not seen everything. We are planning another trip for 2008 and looking as forward to it as the first one.
Have a great time!:tinker:

When you get you Fast Pass, you cannot get another one until the time on the Fass Pass Ticket. So as soon as you get to the start time on your Fast Pass, get a Fast Pass for another ride and then go back and ride the ride that you had for the first Fast Pass.

Example:
1st Fast Pass - Splash Mountain 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
at 11:01 get a Fast Pass for Big Thunder Rail Road and then go back and right Splash Mountain.

Also, you can you use the Fast Pass anytime after the time printed on the Fast Pass Ticket. You do not have to use it within the 2 times printed on the Fast Pass Ticket.
