Our 1st trip as a family of three!----Update 11/3 Our Favorites/Trip Wrap-Up

What a great update! Again, your DD is just too cute with the characters, I love how she enjoys them so much. :goodvibes

All those random playgrounds around Epcot are special for the festival, I think they have them at other times of the year as well, but they aren't always there. I don't really know why they don't keep them up all the time, the little ones seem to love them!

I think the Fairy Garden was my favorite part of the F&G festival, it was so colorful and full of detail. The butterfly house was nice too, but man was it hot in there!

The fairy gardens are so pretty, but it is weird that they had the cardboard cut-outs instead of topiaries. I guess maybe they couldn't get them finished in time since the movie was still so new :confused3

Your DD is so adorable getting her autographs

Love the interaction with Daisy!! What a sweetie!

You are getting lots of great family pictures!! Christmas cards, maybe? :)

I should put them on christmas cards. Everyone already associates me with Disney anyways!

Great update! The fairy area was so pretty and had such attention to detail! We loved it! :)

The pics of Lily are all so precious! I love how she poses for the camera :cutie:

I loved the fairy area too. I just love how pretty Epcot is during the Flower and Garden festival. When she's in the mood for pictures, she'll totally ham it up for the camera.

Thank you! I think you had some fantastic photos of al the gorgeous topiaries in your TR. I'm with you on how hot it was inside that butterfly tent! Then again, it was hot everywhere that week! :rotfl:

I wonder if they ran out of time in the planning process with the topiaries and decided at the end they wanted to promote Princess and the frog? :confused3 Our whole trip was about DD getting pictures and autographs. Can't you tell that's the overwhelming theme of this TR?

Put her in a waterpark and you'll never get her out! :rotfl2:

Oh, I know! It takes major convincing and some bribery to get her out of pools and playgrounds. I'll be bringing her back home to visit my parents in VA this weekend and I'll get to try out a nearby water splash park. Wish me luck pulling her out of there!

Great trip report, can't wait to read the rest! Your DD is to cute! Love all the pics also.:)

Once again, the character pics are too cute! I love how she watched Daisy sign her autograph book. Too cute! The Flower and Garden festival looks so lovely. I hope to go at that time of year someday so I can see it for myself.

Hi!
We live just outside Boston, how about you guys?

Love all the character interaction! I'm waiting for the days when my girls like the characters again!!!

I love the "movie date" picture as well!!

Love the updates!

Laura

It was ridiculous how many character pics we got. I know they all start to look the same, but that was truly our whole trip. You should definitely go during the festival one year. Just say it is all in the name of research for work!;)

Hi Laura and thanks for joining in! We live in the Metrowest suburbs. What about you? How old are your girls? Thanks for reading along!

Hi Becky! When are you starting your TR? I can't wait to read all about it. She was having a blast. We need to start saving for another trip. If only we could get a good PIN for the holidays or if we had booked a bounceback when we were there.....

Did you see that they extended Free dining??

I did see that! It's like they are just tempting me daily with ways to go back. I just read more details about the Food & Wine Festival and just started drooling.

Aw..she looks so happy with Daisy and Stitch! I love that pic of her waving back at Stitch! :cutie:

I didn't like the Tiana cut-outs either! They were random!

Your dd is so cute with the characters. hopefully next year the princess and the frog with be actual flower thingys. Forget what they r called.

Catching up!

I'm glad to see the new pool was just as appreciated as the old pool.

Great pictures from AKL! We love Boma, it's so delicious!

I love the progression pictures. I can't believe she's so little and she can swim alone! (By alone, I mean with the tube, but since DS has only swam twice in his life he's no where near that!)

LOL, I love that you bribed her with a gigantic lolipop. Perfect.

Great pictures with Daisy and Stitch!

I love that Annie is in your “family picture” outside of spaceship earth!

The fairy section is so beautiful! I love it! And how cute is your princess with her crown?

Can't wait to read more!

After looking at your TR, I am thinking that I might try an autograph book with Dylan next time. I think it would be good to give him something to focus on if he is a little intimidated. It seems like Lily really liked it!

The topiaries are so pretty. I hope that we get to go sometime during that festival, just so we can see it all in person.

I'm really hoping that the FD extension will get me some clients! I would love to do the Food & Wine sometime, but that would be adult only trip.

Your little girl is just too cute for words....I love the pic of her in front of the Bambi topiary with her sunglasses....too adorable!

The tinkerbell fairy garden looks amazing and that's awesome they had those coloring sheets.

Also the pics of her with the crown on her head are just priceless....she is just too adorable and it's awesome that she liked the characters so much more this trip.

I'm looking forward to your next update:thumbsup2

Fabulous pictures by the topiaries!

Great luck to get a short line for Stitch, but unbelievable luck with the Daisy line!!!!

As usual, you got some wonderful family photopass pictures!:goodvibes

Can't wait to hear about your EMH evening at AK!:)

I love the first pic where your DD needs the sunglasses! Such great photos! Does your munchkin like looking at the pics and talking about the trip at home?

I love that pic of her waving good-bye to Stitch too! I know, the cut-outs were a bit random!

Thank you! Princess and the Frog topiaries would be cool to see.

According to my daughter, any pool is appreciated! ;) She is definitely loving her inner tube. She is actually pretty fast with that thing!

Annie has been in our family picture many times. ;) However, for a moment there, she was being replaced with Jessie at home.

Candy is her fave reward. That and ice cream!

Hi Alison! You should totally try the autograph book. best investment for me. That was actually the main reason we did the book - to see if it would help her get over her fear of the characters. And as you can see, it looks like it worked! I actually out one together before we left for the trip so she had fun looking at the pictures and talking about it before the trip. Let me know if you want more info on it, maybe I can somehow share the shutterfly book? :confused3 Stitch wasn't even in our book since I thought he would be too scary - apparently not!

I really wish they could meet one day. That would be fun! Instant friends!
