Our 1st Disney cruise *Mex Riviera* we could visit DLR!!

Yay ~ we're booked, early Feb *2/6 is our sail date* and my kids are FREE!! 7 night Mexican Riviera on the Disney Wonder. We leave from the LA port but that's Long Beach right?? I've always said ~ "We'll never cruise Disney ~ too expensive" but not really, even the adult price isn't that bad and with the kids being free it's a great deal!

RE ~ we could visit DLR - we'll see, my kids will already miss 5 days of school for the cruise *the kids sail free is good through March and they have a 3 day break in mid March but the only rooms left for that week are $$$ ~ but our only planned trip for the next school year other than the cruise is DLR @ Thanksgiving time and they won't miss any school for that visit ~ they'll be in 5th & 2nd grade this next school year.



For now my 2nd adult is my mom.

Woo hoo, we're going too! We're going the week of March 20, I don't think we'll add DL onto the trip since we're going this summer and the kids will be out of school for the entire week (spring break for us isn't until the following week)

FYI, the port is in San Pedro. The only cruises that go out of Long Beach are Carnival ones.

San Pedro is just west of Long Beach. The cruise ship terminal is right here. LGB is still the closest airport, with LAX being 2nd closest. JetBlue flies into LGB.

Heck perhaps we'll drive ~ however if we drive to DLR for our Thanksgiving visit I might not want to drive again 2 months later.
