Our 14 day tickets did last 15 days

We are here right now and I know a few people asked about the 14 day tickets. We used ours on 29th July and I made sure there was 1 day I didn't use them. I was then able to still use them on 12th August. I did check a couple of times prior at guest services as 12th was my sons birthday and he realy wanted to go Typhoon Lagoon. We got good value out of the tickets. They were actually from last year when we stayed at saratoga Springs. We already had Annual Passes but had to buy the tickets to get the free dining. We explained at resort last year and they upgraded them to expire the end of this year instead of last year. So I think I paid 220 for them and we used them on 17 occasions (including Disney Quest which I definitely would pay for otherwise!)

This has really opened up our plans as I thought we would have to choose between arrival or departure day till I read about this the other day - and it is great to get confirmation from others that they have done the same

Yes I can also confirm this. We used our tickets for Disney Quest (2nd visit for my kids they loved it so much) rather than a park on 15th day just in case they didn't work. We had days off when we didn't use them during the 15 days like when we visited Seaworld.

Just be careful as I understand this only works if you don't use it for all the other days in between. So you won't be able to use it for all 15 days including arrival and departure day, unless you take a non park day somewhere in between. Unless I have completely misunderstood this.

That is what I have understood too from what others have posted - not a problem with us - we have 2 Universal parks, Seaworld & Busch Gardens to fit it this trip
