Me-25 yo obsessive Disney planner. Loves to plan trips especially for people who dont even know they are going yet
DH- 24 yo DVD God. Thought we werent going back to Disney until we bought a house and started having babies. Signed up for the ½ marathon with me
Backstory-
So our last trip was in April and lets just say it didnt go as well as planned. Dh and I agreed that we would focus on buying our first home and starting a family before we went back. Then I heard about the WDW marathon weekend. I told DH this was a great idea. What great motivation to get in shape. I promised him it would just be a quick weekend, no parks .Fast forward to today. Our trip is now 6 nights long, with 4 days at the parks, and oh did I mention that I dropped out of the ½ and he is running it by himself? I am not a horrible wife, I am running the 5K now and will be there to cheer Dh on!!
One of the reasons that DH agreed to this trip is because I told him I would rent all our DVC points for the year and we would use that money to pay for this trip with dining! Of course, it hasnt quite worked out that way, but I still think we got a pretty good deal
Itinerary:
01/05 Arrive at MCO around 11:30. Pick up our Alamo rental car and head to VWL. Lunch at Roaring Forks and onto WWOS for marathon/5K registration. Dinner at Pepper Market for DHs carb load!
01/06- Sleep in late, check in at POP and then off to EPCOT and MGM for a few hours. Off to bed early
01/07- DH will be up before the sun. The marathon starts at 6. I will join him around 8 and the run the 5K at 10. Back to the hotel to shower and depending on how we feel, DQ. Early anniversary dinner at Yachtsman Steakhouse.
01/08- EPCOT, dinner at Le Cellier, MK
01/09-Animal Kingdom, MGM
01/10-MK dinner at O'Hanana, back to MGM
01/11-DTD and then off to MCO for our flight home at 6
