Soo- The last I heard, Typoon Lagoon made their entire wave pool floor the grippy-raised-bumped surface so that no one slips? Good idea, in theory; HOWEVER- When those waves come flying at ya', that HURTS!! The floor's so rough- Suggestions for not getting to know the First-Aid Nurse so well that day? :rotfl2:

My wife had to visit first aid thanks to the rough walls on castaway creek @ TL, so my advice is to ask for one of the cute little "I visited the nurse" stickers when you do go :lmao:

Actually, just be careful, that's all I can say :thumbsup2

darren
(wondering if he actually has ever helped anyone on the dis)

Does Blizzard Beach (?) have the same thing?

I've never been to either and would love to visit one or both on our next trip.

OK in my opinion only, BB is much better. The wave pool is fun at TL but is also a little dangerous, once again, in my opinion. My girlfriend and her family were in the wave pool at TL and a huge wave came and knocked her 16 yo DD off her feet. Fell to the bottom and chipped a tooth on the rocky bottom. Another time another friend was there and her 12 yo DS cut up the bottom of his feet in the wave pool and need stitches. I am sure there have been injuries at blizzard beach's wave pool too, I just don't know about them. My family just had a better time at BB. Once again, this is my opinion only.
