Hi - my sons are doing speeches for school this year - both of them are using Florida, specifically Orlando, as their theme. My older son (6th grade) did his report on the little known facts of Disney... water purification system, underground stuff, hidden mickeys, etc. My younger son (5th grade) wants to do his on "What about Orlando if you don't like Rodents" (he was a little unhappy about calling MM a rodent, but it's supposed to be an attention getting speech!)... I know about the Universal Parks, Sea World, Discovery Cove... what else should (we!) he include?

Thanks!

The commerce (lots of shopping), Wet & Wild, Riply's Believe It Or Not Museum, the nature stuff in the area (lots of parks, trails etc.), the healthcare system in the area, the building boom & high end housing, hotel chains, the convention center and it's effect on local commerce.

Water purification system? Must be broken. :confused3

The whole I-Drive area is pretty cool and worth noting.

No! Liquid waste is filtered/purified and used as water for irrigation!

They also call vomit *protein spillage*! :rotfl2:

There's GatorLand, Olde Town, the dinner shows.
