Everytime we come home from a trip and I start looking at our pictures I always come across a few with other people in the backround of them. Then I begin to wonder how many pictures am I in that other people have. (whoo, deep) Does anyone have any pictures of people in the backround doing something funny? Or have you ever found yourself in other peoples pictures?

I always check out the background of Disney pics, you never know who or what you might see! :sunny:

Since we go a couple times of the year, I know we are in others photos...

I do have a photo of my DW in front of the tea cups at night .... with it being dark, I used the flash. When we had the film developed, next to my DW we captured a woman just about to slap the back of her kids head. I know it doesn't sound that funny but you should see the way it looks.

My wife standing there smiling away and next to her is this woman in mid-slap form and the 6-7 yr old kid is clueless ... trust me it's funny.

Oh my - this is a fun story.

It was the mid-90s - our last trip with then-15YO DS - and we were at Epcot, near where FW & WS connect. There was a big asian family (12-15 people) gathering for a picture. They obviously had one of those "timer" cameras, as one person put the camera on a cement post then ran to join the group. We were just walking by as this happened, so I stepped behind them - at 6'4" I was taller than any of them - got in the photo, then kept walking. What we all found the funniest of all was that no one noticed, since they were all watching the camera - and since this was before digital cameras, they wouldn't discover me in their shot. For the record, the did the same shot 3 or 4 times afterwards, so I know I didn't ruin a "once-in-a-lifetime" photo. But I still wonder if I'm part of some family's travel records....

I have a great picture of a guy with a cheesy smile waving in the background at Epcot. I'd love to post it but I don't know how.

I find it funny but at the same time quite rude. Its one of those things, I chuckled but felt wrong laughing. Oh well...

When we returned from our December trip, I posted my photo albums (links below).. One woman (can't remember her name) here on the Dis, found her family in a few of my parade pics from MVMCP!

You probably are, well part of you anyway, at 6'4" your head may not have made it into the shot.

:earsgirl: :earsboy:

We had a family photo taken by a Disney photographer in front of the castle, myself, my husband and our two sons, When we went to pick it up at the end of the day I purchased it and when I looked more closely there was my goofy brother standing in the background. He laughs about it now. :sunny:

not at disney, but while at the louvre, in summertime there is always a mob getting their pictures taken with the venus di milo. i have a picture that looks like i was taking a picture of some random woman posing with it. :teeth:

That's you!

j/k LOL!

this isn't disney, but in one of our wedding shots where we are cutting the cake, you can see one of the groomsmen in the background really blowing his nose - HARD. He had no idea he was in the picture and was totally embarrassed when we showed him - we get a good giggle everytime we see it.

I saw my husband and myself in a picture taken by and Diser and posted here. Our own Dan Murphy was posting pics from his trip just after 9/11. It was a pic of Adventureland, and we were walking away from the camera, but right in the middle of the pic. It was pretty funny to see us in it.

A DISer noticed his family in a picture I had posted in my signature awhile back. He pm'd me that he noticed his family in my sig! Small world! :teeth:

I used to wave all the time when I thought I'd be in someone's photos. That was before I had children -- now I don't have time for that since I'm too busy chasing them around! I figured that if a camera is being pointed my way, what would people rather see -- someone stuffing their face with food, or just sitting/standing around looking bored, or giving a smile and a wave?

I have yet to find myself in a strangers pictures but with the thousands of people taking pics at WDW, I am sure that I am in some families photo album. I just hope they have better pics of me than I have. Most of my Disney pics are of me stuffing my face.

This is a funny post. Lets keep it going. Ours is not Disney related but similar. We were in the process of house hunting and while looking at one we noticed the pictures on the wall of the family living there. All of a suddend our daughter jumps out at us. She was in a team softball photo on their wall. It was just so unexpected to see our daughter on the wall of a house we had no idea who owned at the time...smjj

I haven't read the whole thread, so this may have been mentioned. The E Ticket magazine once had 2 photos taken at the same time of Walt going down Main St. DL in a vehicle, may have even been opening day. One was taken from the street, one elevated, but they were both taken at the same time with the other photographer clearly visible.

Man, I'll type anything to stall exercising!

Cheers.
