Other "Magical Moments" or Where The Magic Lives Certificates

My DS, then three, pulled the sword from the stone in 2003. Nifty certificate and a medallion to wear.

Funny story... we were trying really hard to get DS, then 6 picked! :rotfl:

My DD got one when we celebrated her first birthday with lunch at Cinderella's castle. It's framed and hanging in her room.

Well isn't that a good idea! We got certificates for waking up TinkerBell. I have no idea where they are now :(

Perhaps I'll see what i can do for this trip. Pretty easy for 3 of the kids going. It'll be my oldest DD's birthday. The other 2 in the other family is their first trip. What about for my youngest DD? Any ideas how I might get a certificate for her???

We received a "Magical Moment Certificate" at AK. It was on top of our stroller when we exited the ride. We received it for "being the family most prepared for a two week Safari"!!! They even put our family name on it, which they got off the stroller!!There are six of us so our double stroller was packed with all six refillable mugs, the kids backpacks and other misc stuff!!! I thought it was the GREATEST thing!!! We have also received them from restaurants when celebrating birthdays!! :cool1:

My DD has 2 of these. The first one she got on the last day of our trip at the All Star Movies arcade. She was trading in her tickets and the CM asked what we were doing today. I said we had to head home. My DD smiled and said that it was okay because she beat Mommy at air hockey. He gave her a Mgical Moments certificate for best smile and 2 tokens so she could beat Mommy 1 more time before we left. She also received one last year at AK by playing recycle bowling. She also got a special pin and was told not to trade it as they are very hard to get.

Our kids each received 2 of these this trip!

DD(6) and DS(4) were asked to be Prince and Princess of the MGM Stars and Motor Cars Parade while we were waiting for the parade to start. They were each given a Magical Moment Certificate signed by the Cast <ember who asked them. They helped carry the rope at the end of the parade with the two "official" rope carriers. (This was the highlight of our trip!)

At the Grand Floridian gift shop DD(6) completed a Princess quiz and received a princess pin and a Magical Moment Certificate. DS(4) completed a Toy Story quiz and received a toy story pin and a Magical Moment Certificate.

My DNeice and DNephew each received a certificate when we stayed at POR, French Quarter. My mother, DH, neice, nephew, and I had just gotten to the MK bus stop to go to Early Entry and were the only ones at the stop. A CM drove up in a passenger van and started a conversation with us while checking items on his clipboard. He then asked us if we would like a private ride rather than waiting for the bus and promptly drove the 5 of us to the closest unloading spot at MK. Each of the kids got a certificate for their special transport. They were thrilled with both the ride and the certificates.

We have 2 of them. Both for being picked as the family that opens Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner. We were picked in 2002, & in 2003.

When my DD woke up Tinkerbell, she received a certificate that says "This Moment was Certifiably Magical" etc... It was hand written "Wake Up Tinkerbell" and Awarded by "Peter Pan"
Does anyone know where else they use these certificates?

my DS will have his first trip to disney, as well as his 13th b-day. Do I request the certificate at check-in or how do I get one?

These stories are great guys....i'm going in november, but i REALLY wanna be there now reading all these!!!!

DD got one at RnR. It was her first time on a coster. And then we got another one in AK. We where at the loin king show( this was back in 2000, don't even know if it is still there. It was just the mechenical dolls) and she wanted Simba's autograph. We tryed to explain to her that he could not give it to her because he was just a puppet and she started to cry. VERY nice cm over heard and told us not to leave. He came back with a special autograph from simba (paw print) and told her she would be getting a picture in the mail from all the character in the Loin King when we got home!!! :jumping1: They took our address and about 2 weeks after we got home we got it! SOOOOO cool. She was 6 at the time. She is now 11 and still has that picture and autograph on her wall!

My DD has several. The two I think of right now are for starting illuminations at Rose and Crown and being chosen Chef of the day at Crystal Palace. That was a fun one. It was for early breakfast. She was the first child in and was asked to decorate a Mickey waffle with the assistance of all the characters. Pooh kept insisting she use more honey! Then she got her certificate and we had a picture with all the characters together.

My DS (10) received a "Magical Moments" card at the Safari ride in AK. We sat in the front row and he identified a bunch of animals (some the guide didn't notice and then pointed out to others). Absolutely magical safari ride.

At the end the guide (driver) asked us to wait as the other guests exited the tram. She then asked his name and a bunch of other questions. He loved all the special attention. She then told another CM that helped us off the tram that DS deserved to be a "Disney Safari Guide" so she wrote up the certificate and took his picture. Best part of the trip and a moment we will never forget.

If you have a magic moment, and nearby CM's don't have certificates, stop by MK City Hall, or probably any guest relations in any park, and ask if they can get you one. You may have to pick it up at the end of the day, but they usually will accommodate your request.

My DD received one 9/03 for starting the Pocahontas and her Forrest Freinds show at AK. She was asked her name, where she was from, and then she was asked to bang a drum and begin the show.

My girls still play like they are begining the show and waking up Tinkerbell when they are playing. Too cute.

I got one on July 4th last year for answering all the questions at the Once Upon a Toy store at DTD. It's a family trivia game on the back of the print out of the Mr. Potato Head computer. I got the certificate and two little tubes of Play-Doh. I have it framed next to my pins!

My daughter got one in Ak after talking to a CM about the hippos while walking through the Pangani Forest Trail. I thought we received it because we were asking questions about the animals. I didn't realize it was a special occurence. I guess the key to get one is to talk to the CMs!

One of the Security Guards at MGM led my husband and I (it was our honeymoon - we were wearing bride/groom mouse ears) to one of the stores where they proclaimed us Stars of the Day. We signed a book, got a certificate, and got a free picture of us standing in front of the sorceror's hat with the certificate and a oscar-like trophy.

We also got one in the UK from Winnie the Pooh and Eeyore. Again, a result of the bride/groom mouse ears.

My son got one in Nov. 2004 - it was in our hotel room, along with a signed picture and Mickey and balloons. The 'Magical Moment' on it was for "a magical vacation." I'm thinking a front desk CM did it after seeing how excited Connor was to be there (it was our first one-on-one trip - but not the last! I can't wait until September.)
