Has there ever been any talk of putting DVC resorts at the Polynesian or Grand Floridian?

People keep hoping but I doubt if it will ever happen. DVC is used to fill resorts and the Poly and GF do well on their own.

the polyn doubtfully - just because BLT is not selling fast enough.

the GF maybe - depends upon how much competition the new four season (over at FW) will give it.

the GF has never had directly competition with a real 5 star hotel before.

now the GF is definitely in a better area - but it services lacks a whole lot.

that say would not expect anything else besides BLT on the monrail for years - at least 10 years.

Funny that this is asked since DH said he overheard someone (cast member, housekeeping, or whomever but not DVC) say they would put DVC resorts at ALL the WDW resorts. I told him fat chance....

I STRONGLY suspect DVC has done at least preliminary research on putting units at all the Deluxe resorts - and maybe even the other resorts. Whether those plans come to fruition never, twenty years from now, ten years from now or next year is anyone's guess until they announce (or, as in the case of BLT, start building so we can guess with at least some evidence of action).
