Trash & Towel Service
For stays of seven or less nights, Trash & Towel Service is provided on day four, regardless of whether you're using Member-discounted cash, Vacation Points or a combination of both.
With Trash & Towel service, Housekeeping will:
* Empty trash and replace liners in trash bins.
* Provide fresh bathroom linens.
* Replace shampoo, facial soap and bath soap.
* Replenish facial tissues, paper towels and toilet paper.
* Replenish coffee, sugar, cream and sweeteners.
* Replenish dishwashing liquid, dishwashing detergent, sponges and laundry detergent as needed in one-, two- and three-bedroom Vacation Homes.
We are members who just stayed 5 nights at SSR pre-cruise and 5 nights there post-cruise.
The first week housekeeping just put the basket outside our door - never came in or brought it in or said anything. Just left it outside on the morning of Day 4 - we dragged it in that night and used more towels the next morning.
The second week (post-cruise), housekeeping knocked on the door on the morning of Day 4, pointed to the basket left there and in very broken English said something like, "You take basket, leave dirty towels and trash in hall. I will pick up."
It all seemed pointless as we were checking out the next day in both instances, but the lack of explanation, and the basket just sitting there was just...???.
There was certainly no "replacing", "replenishing" or "emptying" going on, that's for sure!
