OT: Wii controllers and is this a decent price for a bundle?

We are buying a Wii for a family christmas gift.....
I am not sure what we all need as far as controllers & such.
we are a family of 4, but i do not think we would all play at the same time......mabye 3 of us at the same time mostly.

the games we are intrested in are the Summer sports, and racing games, and some "board game" type games. ( for the time being, we would buy the summer sports to go along with the game right away)
so, what controllers do we need, and how many of each?


edited to add: i am looking at the bundle package on walmart.com site, and wondering if this is a good price - this is what i picked out for my "bundle" from thier options (Nintendo Wii Value Bundle)

So i would have 2 controllers, do i need to buy one more nunchuck? or do i need three controllers and three nunchucks?

FYI we are a family of four and we got 4 controllers......it's really nice to be able to play as a family, there are more games then you might think that are 4 player games. Mario Party 8, Mario Kart, Disney's Think Fast! are all favorites of ours and we all play them together. Not every single time but it's nice to know we can play like that.

I would make sure you have 4 controllers total, because it is fun to play together. However, you might not need the numchucks right away. I know the boxing game needs the numchuck, but there aren't too many others that need them. You can check the back of the box for each game that you want to see what you need. I have four numchucks, but I can't really remember a time where we all played a game where we needed numchucks.
