OT ~ Why do they call them safety shoes?????

I really got to keep my mind on work and the tasks at hand!

I wore my new safety shoes, the one's that DD thought were hiking boots but turned out to steel toed and not cool to wear to school, so I wear them.....

Long story short, those stupid rubber soles keep catching on the carpet and this time did a FULL FACE PLANT!

Luckily for me I already had a dr's appointment. Bad news is that I have to go back tomorrow to get Xrays done on the one knee! It swelled up but good!

Wish me luck that is just badly bruised just like my ego!LOL



DD said I did it on purpose so I couldn't go back on RockNRoller Coaster! YeaH Kid!

Ok you can all go back to your regularily scheduled DISn'!

BTW, the wind is a howlin out there tonight! Stay Warm Everybody!

I'll give you my bum elbow to match your knee?? hope it heals fast for you.... my arm is still all bruised after a week and a half but at least I can use my fingers and wrist now without extreme pain. My dh says I did mine in just so I didn't have to mop!!lol You just wanted extra time off is that it??

I've often thought of getting safety shoes for working in the yard. Some men (my dh for one), find them sexy on a chick.

I know this is mean, but I remember when my ex did the exact same thing and it was honestly one of the funniest things to see him just drop face first into the carpet. Ha ha ha ha! He just crashed and his expression was so funny that I am ROTFL right now thinking about it, and it was 5 years ago! Seriously, sorry to hear about your fall, but thanks for bringing a smile to my face. Hope all is feeling better in time for your trip.

Hope your knee is better! Your ego may take a little longer Remember the DIS rule -- thou shalt not injure yourself too badly just before a trip to WDW! I always threaten my kids that if they break an arm or leg before our trip, I'm not takin' them with me!

Well went yesterday to get the Xray done!

The good news, I just badly bruised the bone nothing broken but my EGO!LOL

Doc says I should be good to go! He started laughing though when I was a little disasppointed not being able to go the front of the line! I told him is was Christmas and the crowds were gonna be awful, etc., etc.......

He just shook his head!
