My CIBC Shoppers Optimum card will be no more as of Aug. I have been searching and asking about other Visa's - their rewards specifically. Aeroplan is crazy expensive for their annuals. I'd love a Disney one... but being Cnd.

Thoughts?????

Thx

I'm an RBC Avion fan and the fee is "paid" for by my banking package. We've accumulated and used so many flights in the past 6 years it's amazing. We put EVERYTHING on the card.

We also have a CIBC Aerogold for my wifes at home business and you really need to plan ahead to use Aeroplan.
I believe Amex has a $60/yr card that gives you aeroplan points.

If you don't want aeroplan/airmiles or an annual fee, we have a CIBC Dividend VISA that has no fee. It gives you cash-back at the end of the year (amount is credited onto your January statement). The percentage is not very high, but it's better than a kick in the teeth.

Right now, I prefer to use my Amex airmiles ... I'm collecting for Disney passes. :thumbsup2
