OT - Where in Ottawa...

Does anyone know of a store in Ottawa that sells high-end sports/mountaineering equipment?

Specifically Arc'teryx jackets?

Mountain Equipment Co-op http://www.mec.ca/Main/home.jsp has a store in Ottawa but I don't know if they carry jacket you're looking for. If they don't carry it I bet you they know who does.

You could also try Bushtukah (www.bushtukah.com) - they're just down the road from MEC and carry some pretty high end stuff. MEC is located in the heart of Westboro and the camping/outdoor type stores have concentrated in this area - there's an outdoors store right across from MEC, Bushtukah down the street, Trailhead just down from Bushtukah, etc. If one of these retailers doesn't have it, they'll tell you where you can find it.

P.S. Bushtukah's website is, and has been, brutal for some time - however, according to this link they carry Arc-teryx.

Bushtukah was the place to be. They are the only one that had any stock of waterproof shell jackets. What an awesome store!

(Of course I love MEC too!!)
