OT - Where else do you travel with kids?

Hershey Park!!
Visit my sites for more info:

We try to visit there twice a year with the kids. Here is where we plan on taking the kids in the next 2 years:
London/Paris
Boston
Washington DC
Disney Cruise
Beach vacation(not sure where yet)
Hershey Park
We live outside of NYC so we take them there often for day trips. They love it. We also go to WDW twice a year.

Well now.....thanks to all of you for your suggestions. I am from MA and love that most of this stuff is just 4-5 hour trip away. (but I must confess - with SWA offering $38 one way to Pennsylvania - that is how we are going in June). Heck, I'll take an hour on a plane over 5 hours in a car with a 2 year old anyday!!!!

For those that mentioned hershey......is 2 too young? I have 2 days planned for Sesame - but I still have 2 left. I was thinking a zoo (any suggestions for that area), Crayola or Six Flags NJ. Any thoughts????? Thanks!

We love to go camping in Lake George every year, and we go to the Jersey shore too. My favorite place is LBI but we went to Lavalette (sp) last year and the kids really liked Jenkinsons boardwalk, so we will probably start going there instead.
We take day trips to NYC on the train since we live so close.
I like to plan weekend getaways every so often, just to do something different with the kids. Its nice to get away even if its just tos ee somewhere new.

Another vote for Knoebels. We camp there every year and this year I got us in for a whole week. I consider it my "home away from home".

Knoebels...here we come...again!!!

The please touch museum and Philly Zoo are fun!

I don't think two is too young for Hershey. We have been taking DD since she was a few months old. I will warn you that Hershey does not have many family rides that everyone can go on like WDW does. However, we always found plenty to do when she was little and they have lots of kiddie rides. The good news is that two year olds are free at Hersheypark. Hersheypark also has a small zoo called Zoo America that is part of your admission plan so you could do that as well.

Actually out of the things you mentioned, Hershey is most geared for a two year old. Six Flags and Crayola are geared a little older.

Anyone can feel free to PM me if they need more information - on Hershey or the area and I will help if I can.
