OT: When is it Tim's Roll Up The Rim time?

I always thought that Tim Hortons Roll Up The Rim Contest was in February

Anyone know?

I want to win something more that a cookie this year

It usually starts the end of Feb ... which, when Easter is in April, nicely corrresponds to Lent ... a co-worker said he knows a guy in marketing for Tim Horton's, and that they originally planned that timeframe years ago to prevent people from giving up coffee for Lent!

Who knows ... but I'm waiting for it. Last year, I did not win ONCE ... and I was buying a minimum of 5 x-large teas a week. The only winner I saw was a coffee I bought for my FIL, so he got the free donut.

Here's hoping there's some free stuff coming our way ...

It starts on Monday. My cousin wrote about it in her blog. There's a group of people at her work who have a contest each year to see who wins the most stuff each year. She even found these little keychains with an "official" rim roller tool on them. It's funny.

I was just at a CNIB fund raiser and the man that created roll up the rim was a guest speaker. It was fascinating to listen to him.

That's great!!! I've always wondered who won the cars and what they did with them.

Now the burning question.....what size coffee?

How about spreading some of your luck my way? I have to get a new car this year.

What a feeling that must have been when you discovered you won. I am sure I wouldn't have believed it at first if it happened to me.

It was a large. When they start the contest, you can check the rules and regs online and it breaks down how many prizes in each region and what size cups have the prizes. Good luck!!!

DW and I were in shock. We went to the Tim's website to see what it really meant... then went back to Tim's to show them what we had found and then to a dealership (which was closed) to see what the truck looked like.

One week from today, the truck, with a green Mickey head antenna topper and it's "Been there, done that, going back" WDW license plate frame will be on its way to WDW!!!

That's so cool about the new vehicle! I've started a new strategy for this year ... I've switched from x-large to a large. Just bought my first one, so we'll see if giving TH's less money works to my advantage. LOL

Wow, that is soo cool, did you have to pay taxes or any other fees on the vehicle?
