from what i remember there is a college course you need to take - at least that's the way it was 15 years ago when i went through it.

you have to memorize a million airport codes like YYZ Toronto

i've wondered about getting back into it but would rather be a DVC rep although chances of DVC opening up in Toronto is ohhhhhhhh ZERO

Do you want to be a TA that sells all destinations, or do you want to specialize?

When I was looking into it.
There is a college program you must, and you must also have your license so to speak for the field. I believe there are 2 to 3 levels of this license.
And if you want to specialize in something, you I believe have to take some more training, etc..
But I am not 100% positive, I looked this up a few years back.
