Looking for Christmas ideas...Thought maybe this would help with some other peoples lists as well...What is your 3 or 4 year olds Favorite Toy?

My dd's are her FUN people as she calls them...Little People as they are called, or My Little Pony.

Your turn...

My DD's favorite "toy" is her princess dress-up trunk with a variety of princess costumes, jewelry and shoes stored inside. Last year, my MIL bought this for her on her birthday from Costco and it has gotten A LOT of use! Over time, we've added more things, such as my old costume jewelry, hula skirts and other dressup items and she has so much fun with it!

Another toy that she really likes is her Leap Pad. She can spend a whole morning or afternoon playing with it. She has a bunch of books and cartridges to choose from and she learns a lot too! We always take it with us whenever we travel and it's a great toy for long car rides or when we're in our hotel room.

HTH!

DD3's favorites are the Princess' dresses/shoes and the little Princess "people"-the small rubber like princesses' they have at the Disney store along with the "castle" & clothes to dress them in.

My DD loves her dress up stuff too! We also got her a musical tea set & a picnic basket last year that she plays with all the time. She like to pretend all the princesses came over for a picnic/tea party! Too cute! :cutie:

For DD (6) she still loves to play dress up, you can't go wrong with that. Around 3 1/2 she starting playing computer games that we had bought. A great first "board" (not really a board game) for younger children is Barnyard Bingo, both of kids loved that! She also loved Little People, had the house, carnival, farm, and city, which DS (3) now plays with. For a boy (at least mine) all I can say is cars, cars, cars, trucks, trucks, trucks! I think his favorite part of trip to WDW was anything that included transportation, buses, boats, trains, monorail, etc. And of course the best thing is books! :goodvibes

She loves her dolls, she has the princess ones from the disney store in small and large (small to take places) and here little people...she takes them around the house and puts them in dangerous situations and has another doll (any other little doll) save them..its kinda funny cause she uses different voices...I'll save you Belle... :rotfl2:

She also loves her Bella Dancerella, but thats kinda new.

Oh and Ava is 3

No DDs for us, all boys. But DS4 favorite toys are anything Dinosaur related and Thomas trains (loved those trains since he was 15 months old). He also loves to play board games & do puzzles.

Hey Nicole! Aubrey loves the ponies too! Have you seen the new amusement park play set for them? Look on the website. I'm thinking about getting that for Aubrey!

My son likes anything he can ride. He has a rocking horse,a rocking plane, a Corvette pedal car(just like Papa's) and a Power Wheels Harley Davidson. They aren't space effecient but he is constantly on them.

He is also into outdoor toys. We set up the beach cabana, the kiddie pool and the sprinkler. He loved to push his bubble mower and 'mow' our yard. Then he goes to the beach(kiddie pool). Then he has to go home(cabana) because it rains(sprinkler).

My DD2 also loves the princess' from the Disney Store. She also has the Toy Story and Lilo ones! She could play for hours with them!

DD3.5 loves Care Bears right now. The stuffed animal ones, and the little 'little people' type care bears. She has some barbies also. Not really playing with Little People as much anymore. She LOVES watching Raven. Too bad there aren't any Raven dolls, but she pretends her other ones are.

My DD4 loves the dress up stuff as well. She is also into Barbies and Polly Pockets. Last year for Christmas both her and her DB6 got a Leapster. Those have been great. They are both fun and educational. They take them in the car all the time and can play them for hours at a time. It's nice that they can share the cartridges. I would recommend this to anyone. They both have the Leappads also, but once they got this the leappads went by way of the back closet - this is more portable.

My dd, 4, loves any kind of doll - Polly Pockets, Barbies, Princess miniatures, and even some of my old stuff! She also has an American Girl doll and Bitty Baby. Those travel well with the backpack and with just a couple of changes of clothes it's a great toy. She also has a Leapster, but goes through phases playing with it. She plays dress up at least once a day and sometimes all day. When my ds, now 7, was 4 he enjoyed Legos, Thomas stuff, computer games, and Hot Wheels. Hopefully his younger brother will enjoy the same toys when he's 4!

DD loves her Dora dollhouse. She also loves little figures like the ones that go with the house she has over a hundred ranging from princesses to zebras. She has a Princess Laptop from Leap Frog....hours of fun and learning. She is 4 and is teaching herself to spell with that toy.

Hey Carolinagirl...I put that Princess Laptop on our Xmas list this year..is it alot different than the stuff she would learn from the LeapPad do you know? I thought it looked neat...but wondered if there was much difference?? :flower: Thanks!!

This will not help at all, but I just ahd to say that my dd 3 year old's favorite toys are her BK Star Wars toys and Star Wars books. LOL! She is a total Star Wars freak. My dh thinks we should write to George Lucas and send him a photo of her in her Bobba Fett costume and maybe we'd get something free! lol!

My DD loves her Fisher Price Loving Family Dollhouse and all the accessories. She also enjoys the My Little Ponies and dress-up things. Her all time favorite playtoys have been baby dolls. She is such a "little mommy". She loves dressing them, feeding them, taking them for strolls in her mini Graco stroller. etc.

My DD's (nearly 3) favorite toys are those 24 piece puzzles. They have them at Target for only $3.00 each! They have a puzzle for each Disney Princess. We have Belle right now but we're going to get her Arial, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty for her birthday next month. But we also have a Mickey Mouse and friends one, Care Bears, Elmo and Friends, and Veggie Tales(not from Target).

Also my DD loves art supplies. You can get them dirt cheap right now for the back to school sales. A glue stick, construction paper and markers can be tons of fun :)

Ditto on the dress up stuff too. She's getting a Disney Princess dress up trunk from my sister for her birthday.

Oh I also forgot - Pretend Food and Play Money. She likes to go grocery shopping and gets a kick out of it when I am the cashier and say "beep" as I scan each item :)
