When I first joined the DIS, it was specifically for the camping section. We have had several "Griswald" moments while camping. (Once our camper became unhitched as we went over a speed bump at a campground)

The Griswalds is the family name of the Vacation movies with Chevy Chase.

Hence.... Camping Griswalds

BUT we do have a BEE theme in our lives, all started when we were dating. DH (Still DBF at the time) started calling me Bee because my first name started with a B. Then one day he bought me a small window prism shaped like a Bee and it snowballed from there.

Oh my, you are a wicked mom. I was at a party once and this group of moms was talking about how they were such softies when it came to their kids. Now, I know these kids and know how unruly they can be. I couldn't take it anymore. They were all trying to one up each other on nice they are to their kiddos and how much they let their kids get away with things. And I had heard, "Oh, I'm just too easy on them." 1 time too many. So I said, "Not mean. I'm just mean. I expect my kids to contribute to the well being of our family by doing chores, and I don't pay them to do the chores. After all, nobody pays me to do my chores." Boy, they were speechless. Now, of course, I said this in a light-hearted manner, but they got my point. Could you imagine trying to win the Who Lets Their Kids Walk All Over Them The Most Game?
