OT-What book are you reading now?

I'm a big fan of James Patterson. Just finished reading Honeymoon. Not sure what I will pick up next... But I'm sure it will be by James Patterson.

Have you read his Women's Murder club Series, 1st to Die. etc......?

I have not..... 1st to Die is the first one. Where can I find out the order of the series? Have you watched the TV series Women's Murder Club. James Patterson is the writer for that show. It's not bad.

abirdd-Ice House by Minette Walters is great, but anything by her is amazing, she is an incredible talent.
I just finished "A Thousand Splendid Suns" by the author of "The Kite Runner". It was a perfect book, a pearl! I was so taken away by this book it is now tied for my alll time favorite with "A Fine Balance". I still think about that book from time to time and I read it about 2 years ago. I am just starting "T is for Telephone" by Sue Grafton who is just getting better and better!

Anne Rule - "Smoke, Mirrors & Murder" ... I have read everything she has written. Her true crime books are so well written.

Just finished James Patterson's most recent book "The 5th Horseman" ...I love a good mystery and his are such a fast read, which is good and bad.

Finished "Next" by Michael Crichton, which I found a bit hard to follow, and am starting "Too Late To Say Goodbye" by Ann Rule. I've read several of her books in the past and found them fascinating.

I agree! For some reason, I've been through her booklist... and never noticed until recently I'd missed Ice House. Finished it last night, and have to say it was brilliant (especially considering it was her first work)

will admit that the last book i read was the elizabeth smart story so i guess i am an 'easy' reader! and this one is a challenge.

also, i am the mom to 3 young ones so finding time to read is well, precious!

Books are 1st to Die, 2nd Chance, 3rd Degree, 4th of July, The 5th Horseman, The 6th target, and the new one 7th Heaven.

Thank You Tantor...... I have read the 5th Horseman. I thought it was with Alex Cross because the last book I read with Alex was about a group of men that called themselves the horsemen. Of course once I got into it I was completely off. But I still enjoyed the book. Off today to get 1st to die and Maximum Ride The Final Ride. James Patterson thinks it is the best book he has ever written.

I LOVED that book!!! Actually, I loved both of those books, but "A Thousand Splendid Suns" is a real gem.

"Peter and the Star Catchers!",(forget the authors, but there are two of them). This is a book geared towards kids about Peter Pan before he became Peter Pan and I have to say, I am really enjoying it! It is an easy read to be sure, but I am almost done and I just started it yesterday. Ridley something is one of the authors and he also wrote "The Kingdom Keepers" which takes place in the Magic Kingdom. I found that one harder to get through as it is for kids ( the age range of 8 and up depending on your child's reading level), but anything Disney is worth my time!!

Love the talk about James Patterson! I have almost all of his books because I bought a "lot" on Ebay. I got about 22 used paperbacks for about a dollar each plus shipping. So worth it! I have done this for Nora Roberts books and this way I get all the older ones that aren't that easy to find.

I finished reading, "Sisters", by Danielle Steele last week and I could shoot myself for buying it in the first place. I swore a few years ago never to buy another DS book because they are all the same, but I fell under the spell again. Oh well, my mom will get it now.

I'm finding A NEW EARTH an easy read. It flows well and is sometimes poetic. I really try to avoid reading it because I find he just re-writes Buddhism. However, I am liking it very much!

Just finished Innocent Man by John Grisham. I usually love his books. This one took a long time to get into. I didn't love it. But it wasn't his usual fiction.

I'm a huge James Patterson fan too. Finished Double Cross a couple weeks ago.
