Does anyone have any experience with Staples Animal Hospital in London? I need to get a whole lot of farm cats spayed/neutered and I can get four done for the price I'd pay for one where I live, but can't understand why it is so cheap!

Don't know that particular vet but lots of vets in the country do cats and dogs significantly cheaper. We always took out animals to a vet in the country due to lower costs. I think it has to do with having large animal practices to help defray the costs of smaller animals.

Nope, but if you'd like, I can refer you to a personal freind of mine, Dr. Kyla Dillard of Dillard Animal Hospital on Wharncliffe Rd. towards Lambeth. She would at least answer your question honestly.

Feel free to tell her Dave from the LEA referred you if you'd like.

Thanks Daddio - I'll give her a call.

Marylou - I've called the country vets around here and the cheapest is $140 per female cat. My own vet charged me $197 for my house cat so the country one is a bit cheaper but nowhere near as cheap as this one in London.

Just a guess, but in some places the Humane Society subsidizes spaying/neutering as it helps control the pet population.
