OT: Trunk-or-treat ideas... Please help...

My neice has a fall festival at pre-school next Friday night and they are asking for people to do trunk-or-treat. For those that dont know what that is you park cars around the parking lot and allow kids to trick-or-treat from car to car... Ok so here is the deal... My sister owns a florist and has a HUGE delivery van... We wanted to make it a little fun house for the kids... With a haybale/rock wall to climb in and a slide coming out the back. Does anyone have any ideas or fun themes we could use??? Thanks for any input..

We have Trunk or Treat at our School/Parish and we love it! The pastor has a haunted rectory yard that they kids walk thru during the course of the "route". There are always 7th or 8th graders dressed up and used in the skits in there. It is soooooo much fun!

What about a Pirate Theme? There is so much out there costume wise with Pirate's of the Caribbean. You could get some luau looking props and make them looked very used and dirty! Make them walk a plank to get in!

This year we are taking my husband's pickup - we bought an inflatable spider last year, so this year we have a huge spider web and a strobe light to go with it! So it will look like the spider spun a huge web and is taking over the truck. I made my husband do a test run the other night to see how it would look - the neighbors must have thought that we were crazy!

Afterwards we have donuts and cider in the cafeteria, it's a BLAST!!

We do trunk or treat at my Inlaw's church and everyone always decorates up their vehicles - it's awesome!! I like the idea that the previous poster had about the Pirates of the Caribbean and walking the plank to get in/out!!
