Has anyone bought trip insurance independently of the cruise line you're sailing on? We're going on Carnival in January. Driving to Miami - so we don't need to worry about flight changes or lost baggage etc. I've been on some cruise boards and, aside from trip cancellation, they say you need medical insurance that would cover you in the extremely rare event that you needed to be airlifted from the ship for a medical emergency. We're all healthy, but you just never know. I've been on insuremytrip.ca and it's all really confusing. 
If anyone has any experience/recommendations, I would love to hear them.
