OT: Transitioning my DD to a bed - help!

Hi all - original poster here. Thought I'd post an update. Last night at bedtime I asked dd if she wanted to sleep in the big girl bed or crib. She said "up there" and pointed to the crib. Okay. Well tonight, she and I were running around the house playing and she wanted to go in her room. We went on the bed and were reading and hiding from Daddy and playing with some stuffed animals. When I told her it was time to go to sleep, she chose the bed! We left her there with a book and her animals and she was "reading" out loud. About 5 mins later she came strolling into the kitchen. I explained the rules about her new bed, tucked her in, she said nite-nite, and she is now peacefully sleeping.

We're hoping it continues, but will take it as it comes. At least it is an encouraging sign. Now if we can just get her to agree to go on the potty all the time!
