OT - Titanic at Science Centre?

Anyone seen this exhibit or the IMAX film? Am thinking of taking DH and was wondering what others thought.

We want to go and see this in July when DH is on holidays, I am interested in hearing what others think.

We should all plan to go on the same day and get a group rate.......

We got special passes before it opened. The exhibit is just amazing. There are no words to describe some of the things you will see.

The movie was disappointing. It's more about the crew on the ship that was filming the movie then the actual titanic. the movie is like 40min long and the titanic is on screen for maybe 7min. plus they tried to fill it with pictures and stories, and while we were there the director was there and he told us all the photos were photoshopped to move the story along.

So my verdict is the exhibit all the way. If you can don't see the movie, it's not worth it, your time is better spent in the exhibit.

thanks for sharing!! I'll have to make sure to get my 13yo ds' there. He's been really interested in the Titanic since he saw the movie a few years ago (minus a few scenes!! )

We went a few weeks ago and loved it. My DS 10 and 8 wanted us to move along a bit quicker than we did, but my mom and I wanted to read everything! Didn't see the movie, but the exhibit was great!

We went on Thursday and I couldn't agree more with this post. The exhibit is definately worth it!
