My DS has to wonderful pre-school teachers. None of the parents are organized to do a class gift. I do want to get them each something. One is a scrapper and the other loves to read so I was thinking ACM and Barnes & Noble gift cards. Do you think $15 each if a fair amount from one student? DD's 1st grade class is collecting $15-20 for their teacher and the aide to get one big gift card from the class for each of them. I will give $20 for the two of them combined. Thanks for any insight. I don't want to seem cheap but I don't want to break the bank either.

I usually give $10 cards to my daughters daycare teachers for Christmas. It may sound cheap, but there are sooo many of them. I think $15 sounds fine.

Sounds like a great idea and amount. You might want to print a coupon from each store and include it with the gift card. You can Google AC Moore coupon and find them, same with BN.:thumbsup2

I think it's very generous! Now that all the bridging stuff is done, I need to start thinking about end of year stuff. Oh no! It's coming up faster than I thought!
