OT spring break?

In Canada we had our spring break in March. I just read that spring break is coming soon.
When is spring break?

the us and state government don't control it.

counties and sometimes individual cities (if they have their own school system) do.

so for Disney it starts mid-Feb and goes to end of April - although in someplaces it includes the first week in May.

now in Al (my state) is actually trying to control when the schedule starts and stops - for the southern counties - who claim schools going back in early Aug are hurting their business.

that say the place with money (with the exception on Mobile county) - want the school board to control this issue. right now the law is what the southern counties want - but there were several bills to stick it. (another thing Ala is famous for - changing something then spending money, time and resources to change it back - this bill should never have past in the first place)

2013 Spring Break is over for the majority of the schools.

We are on spring break this week, we leave for FL tomorrow. They mostly fall in march and through mid April.

We're on Spring Break next week, but we're leaving for Disney on Thursday and starting our vacation a few days early!
