OT sort of, project for kids

While surfing for Girl Scout stuff I found a website called

colorasmile.org

They are a non-profit org that sends colored pictures to those who need a smile. The website offers free downloadable coloring pages or you can use your own. Just sign you first name and age and mail it to them. They send them to people in nursing homes and homebound.

I printed a bunch for my DS who loves to color and he was happy to be able to make someone happy. He is always making pictures for me so now he can make them for someone who really needs a smile. My other DS said he wanted to do it to.

So if you need something for your kids to do this summer here is a good project for them and will help someone else too.

We do the Color a Smile pages at all our meetings. It's a great time filler when the girls just get there. We have them on the table with crayons and they color until everyone gets to the meeting. It's a great cause too!
