Ok so I justified posting an off topic with two posts that would relate two weddings - Please mods - let me off the hook one more time

Ok so I've posted before my frustrations of not finding a new job -

Well, I am up for two now - I have had two second interviews and feel great about them both.

The reason I'm posting here and why I can't wait to find the 'great new' job is because as soon as I do, we can set a date and book

I'm either going to get the job from the one place or I'm going to get a 3rd interview from the other.

Please, please, please, pretty, pretty, please send me magic, pixie dust, prayers, happy thoughts to me and hope that I am offered a new job!

I need all the help I can get!

Thank you everyone for you good luck wishes and pixie dust...

But I have had no good luck yet

I went in for a 3 hour interview with a nonprofit for a marketing position
yeah - three hours and on top of that I had to present a 15 minute power point presentation to the entire staff - about 30 people (its nonprofit small company) but still alot of work for an interview

And now I called her and the manager said well we are learning towards another candidate - he has experience his digital publishing so hes preferred but you did a great job on your presentation and we really thought you had great qualifications but if he declines, I would still be considered

Why did she bother with me in the first place if I was missing a certain time of experience? It was a half a day of my time and I had to take off of work

I may have a 3rd interview for another position- won't find out for another week

Time to search the internet again...

Sorry for my job rants - I just cant wait to set my wedding date and start planning and finally marry my DF and I cant set a date until I find a new job

Dont get discouraged

sometimes things like that are a sign that you are destined for something better.

I know how it feels to get those calls....they can really eat at your self esteem, but be strong !!!

We all believe in you & know that they are missing out on the opportunity to have a dedicated hard working employee
