OK, maybe this is only for those who were teens in the 80's but:

Wore your Cougar boots with the tongues hanging out and got the loop of your laces caught in the hook of the other boot leading to an embarassing wipeout which soaked your supertight jeans and hurt your hands because there was no way you were wearing mits or snowpants and look like a complete loser!

Aw man! Cougar boots! In my highschool the coolest accessory with the cougar boot, was a plaid lumber jacket. Classy!

How about: Made 'ice cream' using maple syrup and a handful of snow.

Yes I did bumpershine (manitoba) used to stink like school bus exhaust.

Yes did fall through ice on the creek, and had to walk a half mile home with frozen skates, and pants so frozen I could not bend my knees.

Puddle jumping is what we call racing them across the open section of the lake up at the cottage we have had to fish out a few sleds before but most of the time no one sinks em.
