Went to see Alice, and had a great time. Only to come out and find the window of my van smashed and my door pryed with a crowbar.

They didn't take anything of value, just my daughters bag, filled with feminine products and lip gloss. They didn't even take the money sitting in the coffee tray.

An hour later I finally got all the glass out of the van and made it drivable without having glass flying around the car.

I am now one of those people driving around with a garbage bag over the window to keep the rain and snow out.

I just needed to vent.

Here is what I say to them in Alice fashion.

OFF WITH THEIR HEADS.:rotfl:

Ok I feel a little better now.

BTW: LOVED LOVED LOVED the movie. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

What can I say to make it all better? I am so sorry.
What a most miserable thingto happen.

Yes - OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!

Aw I am sorry that happened to you. It happened to me too and it is a horrible feeling knowing that someone took your stuff.

Definitely OFF WITH THEIR HEADS! :headache:

Sorry you had a bad experience with the jerks of the world.
Sorry for your daughter as well.
I had something similar happen when I was about 14. My family and I were in them movies, came out and someone had busted the window of our truck and stole my bag. A pox on all nasty meanies!

Alice was wonderful though. I also saw it this weekend. :)

I am sorry someone ruined your car. I can imagine the criminal's face when they opened the bag that they thought was worth going through all that trouble of stealing only to find lip glass and feminine products! I know it isn't the justice they deserve (off with their heads) but still... I hope your insurance covers the damage what a pain!!

Sorry to hear something so lousy happened to you. I know it's such a pain getting it all fixed, etc. :grouphug:

cheers,
:flower3:

going through insurance now. It is a pain, and did I mention it is going to rain today. Here's hoping not too much.

I just feel for my poor teen daughter who blames herself for leaving her purse in the car.

My husband works nights, and he goes out every night to have a smoke and usually sits in the car. Well he went out one night and go car. Someone stole it. Now we live 90 miles from his job, so like I can not just go get him. He had to rent a car, talk to police, and see what was taken. Nothing really. they had stolen someone else's purse and that was left in there. It was an older car, so really got nothing for it. The worst part was they parked it in a no parking zone and the police gave it a ticket. We did not know about that until we got a notice in the mail. Okay, now wouldn't you think the police would of noticed the window is smashed and dash board is all broken and the whole car is trashed, you might want to check if this car shows up as stolen!!! We got the car back and did not have to pay the ticket, but come on. It really makes you angry that you have to go to all the trouble to fix everything and you did nothing wrong. Good luck!

Sorry for the trouble you are going through. Your poor daughter, there is so much guilt when you are a teen. I agree off with their heads!

That sucks! I am from Ontario too and the same thing happened to us. My hubby left his laptop in the van for 5 min so he could run in and get a coffee. He came back and the glass was smashed and laptop stolen. It was only 5 min. We learned a lesson. Never leave anything of value or purse in vehicle..even if it is 5 min...;)

Hey, I completely sympathize since I've totally been there. One morning I went into work and came back out 30 seconds later to find someone had busted out the window and stolen all my stuff. I had to drive around with the trash bag too for awhile and it sucked.

Besides it being a super pain at least they didn't get anything major from you like credit cards, identity information etc. I had to go and get EVERYTHING replaced, even my social security card T____T

They'll get theirs in the end, man *shakes fist*
