We are going to Barrie to shop for Christmas presents.

Where should we go? I am not very familiar with Barrie.

I have to buy for DD6 and DD10 and grandparents.

Thanks.

Georgian Mall.
I don't live in Barrie but make the drive up for the mall a couple times a year, beautiful, clean and has all the stores you could ever want!

Cookstown Outlet Mall is south of Barrie on the 400. I bought some great things there last year.

Barrie has the Georgian north offf the 400 at Baygfield Mall & big box strores at what ever they now call Moslon Park drive, Not sure though. Please weigh in Barrie Disers.

Upper Canada Mall Newmarket may have more choice & selection than Barrie.

Not inidcative of shopping in the Barrie, Ontario but this is one of the images when querying GIS with "Barrie Shopping"

:rotfl2: Too funny Ham Ham!

That picture might have described Barrie's shopping choices about 20 years ago or so. It was pretty poor then. But now it's got just about everything.

The posters have been directly well. Cookstown Mall is supposed to be an outlet mall but I've been mostly disapointed by the options. You're almost better off going even further south to Vaughn. I know Vaughn Mall used to have a disney store. I think it's gone now.

Georgian Mall is newly renovated and lovely. Google it to check out which stores are there. It's along the main strip on Bayfield street. On the other side of the street you'll find an old navy and other box type stores. Payless and Bonnie Togs if my memory serves me.

Off Molson park drive to the east there is a costco. To the west there are tons of big box stores like chapters, winners, Walmart etc.

My in-laws live in Barrie so I've been known take off to shop a time or two while they watch the kids.

Thanks for your posts.
Unfortunately the weather is too bad to go.
We had to cancel our shopping trip.
I don't know if I will make it out before Christmas.
Maybe Boxing week.....

The Vaughan Mills Disney Store reopened in a new location. It is much smaller but it is still there.

I agree with shopping in Barrie or going to Vaughan Mills. Cookstown Outlet is a sad little mall.
