OT: shopping at Target?

I live in Canada, but a number of my friends have raved about going across the border and shopping at Target. Does anyone know if they carry large-sized women's clothes there (2X to 3X)? I'm interested in checking it out, but it's about a 2-hour drive and I'd hate to get there and find there are no clothes in my size. Any other comments on shopping atTarget? What are the good deals there?

They do have a women's section...but it is very small I don't think I would drive 2 hours for it. I came across someone who drove an hour to go to their maternity department...and they seemed disapointed. For day to day items, and if you are a size 6-14 there seems to be a lot

They carry Cherokee and some other brands in that size- But they do shrink when you wash them. Most of the stuff is cotton. I bought some when I was pregnant and loved the softness but hated it when it got smaller in the wash. I normally wear a 1X anyway so I did still get to use the bigger stuff but just be careful about sizing. They do have some nice pull on style skirts mostly basics I would say.Think solids and plain- like button downs and tees.

It really depends on the store and what they are carrying. Our local Target had only a few different styles of tops (some had only different sleeve lengths or colors) available a few weeks ago. Perhaps it was because they were changing over to spring items? Not sure but it wouldn't be worth the 2 hour drive, IMO.
