OT: service dog ????

Hi guys i need some help from those of you with sd's. Does anyone know which organizations use airedale terriers as service dogs? (especially ones that also tatoo!) Friend of mine found a 'dale and no one local is claiming her. We are shocked she HAS to belong to someone to be so well mannered, groomed and tatoo'd. I am thinking she may be a service dog in training, but not sure which facilities use airedales.

Maybe its a breeders dog. I would think they would tatoo their valuable animals. Or perhaps a showdog. Have your friend take it to a vet and see if it is microchipped.

try calling local dog groomers. Airedales are rather rare breed and groomers know their clients. Check for tattooing places for dogs in the area. At the jet fuel tanks they found a dog with Louisiana dog tags but never found the owner as they probably moved to Los Angeles area.

There is the dog clipping like when you shave a coat on a poodle and there is stripping which removes the blown coat, long terrier story. You need to find someone who can check for a microchip. Also is the tattoo a phone number as that is a common thing to use. Good luck.
