Hello All ~ We need to relocate our tent trailer. Right now it's being stored in a self-storage spot for $50 a month [very high security]. The lousy storage company is kicking out we small folks for giant trailers. We are considering getting a seasonal camping spot with winter storage or just finding a new storage spot and continue to camp on weekends.

Any recommendations? Thanks! Sandra

We are fortunate in that we live very close to a small conservation area. We keep our trailer there year round and pay less than half that you do. I don't know where you live, (ie. major city), but check into private campgrounds around you to see if they offer seasonal storage. My inlaws live in a campground/year round modular home park and there is storage available for 5th wheels and such for the park's snowbirds. If you live near rural areas, check for local farmers who have an empty barn they are willing to rent space out of. We did this before we started to use the conservation area. We live on the outer edges of a big city, so we have a few more options than some. We like the conservation area storage site as it is where the service barns are for the conversation area and there is always staff around when the gates are open. As well, they are willing to plow our trailer out when we want to head out in the winter for WDW!
