OT Saving for DLP

I mainly shop at Asda and on their website they do a price comparison check on your receipt the next day. If I get a voucher from them I transfer the same amount to a savings account as it's money I wouldn't have had if they didn't run this service.

Also, don't chuck out any old broken bits of gold jewellery. Save it up to sell. Between myself and three DDs we've had a fair amount of broken chains, odd earrings etc and the very small amount I took in to get weighed paid for our meal at Angelina's this summer.

A similar one for tesco shoppers this week... I've just had an email from them saying spend £40 this coming week and you will get a £5 off coupon for the following weeks £40 shop. That's £5 that will go in the pot thank you very much!

If you bank with Lloyds they have a 'save the change' system you can opt into. Whenever you make a debit card purchase they round it to the nearest pound and the difference goes in a savings account. It's amazing how quick it can build up!

Asda have started running the same promotion too. Last year it ran more or less until Christmas so let's hope it does again this year!
