OT- Romantic overnight hotel suggestions

Celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary. Hoping to find a place 1-2 hours away from the GTA for an overnight mini-celebration (grandparents with children - don't want to tire them out!).

Any suggestions? We've done the Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake for our 5th and 10th.

Friends have told us that there are some lovely places in Picton (which is less than 2 hrs from Toronto) to stay. I have been there on day trips and Picton and surrounding area is lovely.

If you want something small and intimate, I would suggest the Wild Swan B&B. All of the rooms are lovely, and have HUGE two-person jacuzzi tubs right in the rooms. I surprised hubby with a getaway weekend for our first anniversary back in 2000 and we really enjoyed ourselves. B&B's aren't for everyone but we really enjoyed ourselves.

The Best Western Fireside Inn in Kingston has theme rooms such as northern Lights and hot air balloons...even their regular rooms have a fireplace in each one. We were there for our first anniversary. It was fabulous.
