This is slightly off-topic, because it's not precisely the Orlando area, but it's relatively close. We have family in the Bradenton area, but my aunt has just moved to a tiny 1-BR mobile home, and Mom's cousins now live in an RV, so there's no room for guests. My folks would love to try their hand at being snow-birds next Jan-Feb., but Dad's worried he won't be able to find a rental he can afford.
And, if I can help him find a rental, I get to take DH & DS to the beach in mid-Jan before my classes start again, so I have a real interest in helping! 
So, any ideas? We're looking for a relatively inexpensive 1-BR apt, preferably not too far from the beach, for Jan-Feb. Hope you can help!
