For anyone who has been to Monster Jam before, I'm assuming they sell all kinds of merchandise there, yes?

What about a Program Guide? Do they sell a Program Guide (or something similiar) that showcases the different trucks and their drivers?

DS has announced he intends to collect autographs, and I sure don't have time to try and whip up some kind of Monster Jam autograph book tonight. I figure if they have something showing the trucks, then we can purchase that and get it autographed.

TIA!

We take our boys to Monster Jam in St. Louis every year. They sell all kinds of merchandise from a nice yearbook with all the trucks in it to toys, shirts, hats, etc. St. Louis has a pit party that you have to get another ticket for. It is free, and usually at a local Ford dealership. With that ticket you can get on the floor with the monster trucks and meet the drivers and get autographs.

Hope this helps out some!

Yes. Yes, it helps! Thank you! :goodvibes We're planning on arriving before 3pm so hopefully we beat some of the crowds for the Pit Party. I'll bring some black sharpies with me then.

Another question please - my husband wants to know about noise. Should we bring earplugs? Is it really loud? Do they have earmuffs or something to purchase?

Yes, it does get crowded early and the lines can get long for some of the drivers. In our experience in St. Louis, it does get loud and the fumes by the end of the night can get a little strong. My DH and son race on dirt tracks, so we are used to the noise and fumes! LOL

Have fun!!! We go to St. Louis on Feb 4th to see them again.

Definitely get there at the 'rope drop' equivalent of the pit party! the lines get long quickly!!

The programs are really nice - my DS looks through it all year long!

The dust is surprisingly minimal but the noise is pretty loud during the show!!! (engines are off during pit party) We bring foam plugs for adults and the ones that we use for the lawn mower for the kids!

Have fun! We have been surprised at this - but we have never had a bad time!! My DS (5 now) loves it and we are going back for the 3rd time in February!

We went one time and enjoyed it. When we went, they had some dirt bikes doing tricks during the show too - that was really cool.

I will say it is absolutely louder than you can imagine. Really, really loud! Definitely bring some ear plugs. We just used foam earplugs, but they did help.

Enjoy the show!

Good to know, thanks! :thumbsup2

My husband is planning on purchasing some of those foam earplug for us all. I wish we had some kind of ear muff / headphone type thing for DS but hopefully the earplugs will be enough to muffle some of the noise.

We used both for DS. The foam ones and then put the headphone style ones on too. They have them in places like Walmart near the sporting goods or tools.
