OT question re camfire fort wilderness?

Do you have to be staying onsite to see the movie at Fort Wilderness? Or can you pay to participate if you dont?

I think you just need to be staying at one of the disney properties. I remember staying at pop and taking DD over by bus for an hour or so. It was such a long ride though.

It is my understanding that it is free. We drove to Fort Wilderness during Christmas. We parked and caught the disney buses up through the campground- Just stay on til you get to the area showing the movie. Just exit the bus at this stop and you can participate. We rode a little farther and got off the bus and took the wagon ride that went down by the lake and through the campground. We enjoyed this. There was a charge to take the wagon ride, but not the movie.

We were staying off property when we did this and didn't have any problem at all.
