OT Prayers desperately needed

Great news! So happy for you and your family! Hope your DH gets the correct treatment for his illness and recovers quickly.

Praise God for His infinite mercy and love. Thank Him for the eternal hope He gives us in His Son. Give thanks with grateful hearts for all the unnumerable blessings He gives us every day. Each day is a blessing and may we cherish each moment with our loved ones. May we be good stewards of all that He has entrusted to us during our lifetime whether in talents or time or money. May our lives be fruitful with the thiings that truly matter on earth as well as heaven.

Thank you so much Kristie for sharing your story. It's so moving to hear about real miracles. It was also a reminder to me to be grateful for what I have, to grow in faith, and to spend more time cultivating the more important things in life such as relationships.

May God continue to bless you and your family. May you continue to be strengthened in your faith amd may your witness be a testiment to all.

God is good!!! I am so happy for your family! This make me cherish my family even more...sometimes a close call is a blessing in disguise.

That's wonderful news!

Did the Doctor suggest he have a colonoscopy? It couldn't hurt to ask about it.

I can't imagine the joy you must feel. I'm so happy for your family. You must be dancing in the streets.

:cheer2:

I hope he feels better soon :grouphug:

I will pray for you and your family. This is a sad feeling.

Keep in Touch with the latest news.

:grouphug: Dearest friends, Do you believe in miracles? well this afternoon we met with Dr. Carlos Fernandez at Mass General in boston. He examined my husband, did a complete physical, and then took his 2 sets of Cts to review with a radiologist. He returned a short while later and informed Kevin and I that there was NO mass on the 2nd CT...and no evidence of lymphoma! :cloud9:

He still feels that Kevin is sick (dropped his hematocrit acutely in 6 days and has loss sooooooo much weight in 2 weeks! Not to mention the jaundice) However, he feels that this is some sort of infectious process that he may have even picked up in the barn. He referred us to an Infectious disease specialist for further work up. Needless to say, we will all sleep toinght better than we have in 2 weeks. He is still very, very weak, but he has no evidence of cancer!!!!!!

We were elated, numb, emotionally spent! I just can't believe the roller coaster ride this has been. But the very first thing Kevin said as we left Dr F's office was that it was the prayer!!! Without question. Although I do not know any of you individually, consider yourself hugged as tightly as one person can give another human being. I CAN NEVER THANK YOU ALL for the good wishes and support. You have meant more to me these last few days than you'll ever know! God Bless you all! Kristie

Oh my gosh!!! Such wonderful, wonderful news!! What a miracle..what a blessing. You've given me such goose bumps. I'm so happy for you and your husband. I'll continue to pray for you...I hope he kicks whatever this thing is very soon.

Oh Kristie! That is such wonderful news! I hope that they can find out what it is and that your DH will soon be on the mend. We'll continue to keep him (and your entire family) in our prayers until he is all better!

I am praying for you!

Here is one of my favorite verses. I hope it speaks to your heart!

Do not fear, for I am with you;
Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.
I will stregthen you, surely I will help you,
Surely I will upold you with My righteous right hand.

Isaiah 41: 10

OK, I couldn't make this up if I tried. Spent all day yesterday in the ER with DD, 7. She wanted to ride her pony in the am. My Dad and she were putting the mare back into the pasture after her ride when the pony charged thru the gate and TRAMPLED my DD. I was on the phone with the ID doc's office at the time, drop the phone and go running. We scoop up DD and fly like banshees (yes in hindsight probably should have called an ambulance) to the nearest ER about 25 min away. The ER staff was amazing! Got us right in. She's pretty banged up, but no pneumothorax, no fractures. Just a bunch of hoof prints right up her back. Her arms in a sling, and today she's sore, but she's gonna be OK. wELL, (i REALLY COULDN'T MAKE THIS UP IF i TRIED) When I grabbed DD from my dad to run into the ER from the car...she's 54 lbs) I snatched her up and threw out my back! I can't stand, can't sit, just can't get comfortable. I took 800 mg of Motrin at 4AM and finally fell asleep. Thank God my inlaws are here. My FIl is taking Kevin back to the internist today. The Dr called last night ( I love this man) and wants more blood drawn to see why Kevin is hemolyzing. The earliest we could get in with ID is Sept 7th so he's trying to facilitate some lab work and see if he can call some other ID docs and get him seen sooner. So that's the plan for today. can only tell you we are all so appreciative of all the prayers. It's working! Now if we can only find out what is wrong. Much love to all, Kristie

Kristie,
When all of this is finally better, you should be finished with bad luck for a VERY long time. Hang in there. Yes, the prayers are still coming!
Jean

Oh Kristie, when it rains, it pours. Speedy recovery for you, dd, and dh!

Oh Kristie,

So sorry your family is going through this rough time.

Sending best wishes and prayers!

Dear Kristie,

We've been having server problems for the past several weeks, with very intermittent connection times, especially during the hottest hours of the day. Today is cool and beautiful in the Northeast, and so my connection is working for more than two minutes at a time (yea!), and I've read the entire eleven pages of your thread.

WoW! It makes you wonder how much your heart can take, both physically and emotionally! I've been there with you as I've read, and I too have had times in my life when everything collapses in on itself and you're bombarded to the place that you really are not sure that you have any more air to breathe. And then, to top it off, now your own physical pain!

Each day is so large and hard, and we can't do it ourselves, so we have no choice but to trust God and lean on Him. No matter how many folks love us and try to help, they can't really do anything to fix the circumstances that are beyond any human control. So, when we are the most weak and helpless, an amazing thing happens. The strength of God becomes our strength!

But yet, on the other side of it all, we are the ones who are strong. We become strong because of what God has led us through! Like the fire to gold, you come out purer and more matured and changed for the better. But it doesn't happen without the weakness and helplessness that must come first. God's cause and affect. He knows exactly what He's doing!

When this is resolved, the air will never have seemed so crisp and clean. And Disney will have never before seemed so magical and carefree. And your family will have a strength and confidence that you never could have had otherwise!

You will be in my thoughts and prayers daily. Your family will be on our prayer list at church (my husband is the pastor). Please keep us posted; you are a blessing to many! God bless you and yours!

Barbara

Kristie,

I am so sorry for all you are having to face. Best wishes and prayers for all of you.

I was about to type the exact same sentiment. Don't dare ask, "What else could go wrong," for fear of Murphy's law. Anyway....

You're daughter is so very lucky to have suffered so little damage at the hands of that mare. I believe that her guardian angels were hovering over her at the time.

God's speed on the recoveries for all of you....
