My DD, 27mos, has been using her potty since June here and there, but still wearing diapers, it was more for fun.
Two weeks before WDW in October we told her that we would not be wearing diapers when we came home and so far we haven't. Since we have been home she has been in panties or pull-ups (aka to-go panties) and has done a great job. She is also not a fan of mess of any kind, and if she does have a tiny dribble she will demand new panties. She has been "dent" (accident) free for the past 2 weeks and 3 days. She has never gotten any rewards, but we do sing the "pee pee/poopy in the potty" song and there is a dance that goes with it. Now the trouble is over the past three nights she has been waking up to go potty, (this would not be a problem if she were a sleeping kind of kid... she has on 2 occasions slept more than 5 hours a night, other than those 2 times it's 5 hours and no more, no naps, "some kids just dont need alot of sleep" so said the pedi. *this momma needs more than 5 hours sleep*) so being the bad mom that I am she also sleeps with us (was breastfed for 18 mos & was easier to nurse & sleep with her in our bed. yes I have read and know the dangers and I know that I need to sleep to keep me sane and therefor, she sleeps with us) so she sits stright up in the bed and says "Dad, potty. BAD!" off they go... and now she doesnt want him she wants momma & now I am not getting even the 5 hours anymore.....
I was really thinking it was going to be diapers another couple of months at night and I would have time to try to transition to the BG bed before she would be going potty in the middle of the night...
So not to steal the OP thread, but any ideas for night time would also be great!
