Is it me or is that dad on the family out of order, i'm sure his son hasn't done anything to deserve being treated like that.

I know what you mean butwe got a room on the top floor and it was so quiet there was nobody going past you or anything - it didnt feel strange if you know what I mean?? I liked being outside so I could see the giant Roger Rabbit outisde my bedroom everyday!:goodvibes
As long as I wasn't on the ground floor I think I'd be OK, CSR & CBR look so lovely that I'd be happy to give them a go!! :)

If I get a disney wedding I want to put my guests up at CSR :) GF for Jack and I though :)

The only thing that puts me off staying in the values and moderates at WDW is the fact that they have outside coridoors, there is something about that I don't like. I like my hotel to have the coridoors on the inside!

The hotel I stayed in at Disneyland (and in fact the one at Seattle too) was like that. It was actually quite a good hotel and they included breakfast which is unusual (not that I used it because I was usually at the parks by the time it started (7am) ). The rooms were perfect for what I wanted them or (sleeping for a few hours) and the bed was huge and comfy (king size, 3 pillows wide), with a bath and shower etc as well...

My favourite hotel is Al Qasr in Dubai. It's breathtaking! You get little boats around the resort. One day mum asked a manager there if we could have a look round to see if we fancied other rooms for a future visit and this woman must have thought we were millionaires or somthing *** she was showing us private houses and 3 floor suites and stuff you can rent.

Amazing!!!

Also I stayed at the Plaza in new york for my 18th and we made friends with our made, who happened to be the head maid and she gave us a tour and I said I loved catherine zeta and she let me go in the room she stayed in for the ngiht before her wedding. The bath has a tap like a swan made of gold and me and mum fitted in it together! And the toilet faces a full length window that looks out over central park, I dont think I'd be too comfortable pooping whilst looking out a window though!

I am sure they are all lovely hotels and really nice to stay in, but I'll stick to the Beach Club Villas and the Grand Californian I think! Although I do like the look of the new tree house villas that are going to be built at Saratoga Springs, they look fun!!

We stayed at All Stars twice and it didnt bother me there. It was nice to step out of the door and see the reosrt.
We were off site twice though and I wasnt so keen on it there

If I ever go to Dubai I want to stay in the Burge Alarat (I know thats not how you spell it! You know the 7* one in the shape of a sail boat!)

I FINALLY received my invoice from Disney this morning for my trip to WDW next year. It only took them 3 weeks and 3 days to send :sad2:

I think one of my bad points is that I am a bit of a hotel snob!! lol Thats why I can't go on holiday as much as I would like to!!nlol

I've always wanted to stay at the Polynesian or the Contemporary - I've always found the monorail rather exciting!

Next time we go were going to stay in a couple of the disney hotels and one at universal studios (Hard Rock Hotel I think) so we can try a few more out :thumbsup2

I stayed in I-Drive last time in the Rosen Plaza, the HUGE hotel. Very posh inside, our room was on the 22nd floor. It was nice but i wanted to stay onsite but as my friend was paying for the trip he wanted to stay there.

I loved our room at the Grand Californian at Disneyland. I loved sitting on the balcony watching people in the park and watching the monorail go past.

I really love the Beach Club Villas at WDW. I love the theaming of the Beach Club and I love the size of the villas and having the full kitchen. I loved the Gingerbread carousel there at Christmas!!

I do like the look of that hotel, were talking about doing Disneyland in a couple of years (I want to go when they have made most of the changes to California Adventure) and they hotel has caught me eye ;)

Lol, i know what you mean burj al arab.

It's nice but honestly Al Qasr and Dar al Maysaf are better. I'd choose dar al maysaf 1st choice if I went back. Right next door to the burj, and 6* so not too shabby. But the best bit of dubai (except 1/2 price topshop) is the beach and the burj kinda doesnt have one. Whereas dar al maysaf you are in villas of like 12 rooms right on the beach.

Its the same land and company as the burj and you can go in and out as much as you want (non guests arent allowed inside without dinner reservations)

Best of both worlds from one hotel snob to another. :)

Port Orleans Riverside, 2 weeks with the free dining plan. I think my girls are more excited about the fact that we are flying with Virgin though!!:lmao:

Sounds brill!!! Have you sorted your ADRS?? You must go to Ohana's, we were so lucky our server put us on a table next to window facing the castle and they piped in the wishes music when the fireworks went off, it was amazing (and so was the food!!)

I'd love to eat at ohanas! If my plans go to plan it we be my 'night before our wedding' meal. :)
