We waited until my youngest was 7 before we went to USA and found it was a great age although I've got to be honest and say that was more down to not being able to afford it until then!!

Right there with her on this one, although 5 years seems a long time

Especially once we're home and she's got another 4 Christmases and Birthdays to go through

It's OK, we've got something equally as nice as DC planned, we're just not telling DDs until Christmas Day.

Ooo lovely.. thats the nice thing about loving close you can just just pop over for a weekend I think I'm all DLP'ed out atm .. we've seen and done all the things/ seasons we've wanted too.. so I dont think we'll go back for a while.

Isn't it just! When we got the other side of the channel it was only 3 hours by car! Took us longer to get from Gillingham to Dunkerque than it did to get from Dunkerque to DLRP!

We haven't ever been during any celebration time before the Halloween and we really want to do Christmas. I'm thinking that it's better to do it now while we have the AP's

We're doing a 3 night cruise on our WDW holiday so she'll get to snorkel on Castaway Cay.
We are keeping it a secret for Christmas Day. That's because it'll be their only pressie only joking but they won't be getting much this year because of it. I'm finding it really hard not having anyone to share the excitement with apart from DH, who doesn't really do excitement.

Yes, I envy everyone who lives really close to the Eurostar or Eurotunnel. It must be soooooo tempting!

I know what you mean about being DLP'ed out. We had a fantastic time this summer but decided on getting home we'd save to go to California after our next WDW trip. Then I've just spent a lovely morning catching up on some trippies and I sooooo want to be at DLP NOW!!!!!!

Yeah we'd like to try driving.. maybe as part of a another holiday though..camping or something...we've been summer, christmas and halloween was the last one I really wanted to see... I loved just as much as christmas season, but if i went in chrsitmas season again i think i'd go before christmas.. as it would be a nice lead up to it. Yeah indeed.. my BF was reading the sign about AP's and he was aksing me about it... i though he was going to sugguest we get them at one point

I love DLP as much as the next person... but theres far to many places I would like to visit and sadly I cant afford to visit them and go to DLP We've had three lovely trips and the last one was def the best... not sure if it can be topped tbh.

It does and it doesn't.

It does as I don't want him to be unhappy but it doesn't as I don't want him growing up thinking that he can get whatever he wants.
