I'm jealous ;)

Holding a baby is my idea of a nightmare!! I'm so scared of hurting them!! The only baby I have every held is my nephew who is 7 1/2 months old (I'm OK with him as he's family!!)

Mr Small world has just read my post and asked the same question :rotfl: it was the baby that was Tigger and not me - Ive not got a new job

 Sorry I couldnt resist it!!

Talking of tiggerish babies... There was the most adorable tigger all in one outfit at DLRP... my baby will def be wearing something similar :rotfl: I feel sorry for my children already!

I used to be the same until my niece was born, now I can't get enough of holding my baby nephew but he is not a little baby:eek:

I don't have kids but when me nephew was born and I bought him lots of gifts (Disney of course) my sil wrote the thank you card saying that Thomas was already looking forward to his first Disney trip with Auntie Karen and Uncle Pete!! It will happen!!

So what is the best age to take a child on their 1st Disney trip then and where you ideally stay?

Our kids have been going to Disney from 15 months old - They may not remember but you will have the memories

I love holding babies.... They're sooo cuddley!! I can't stand the idea of my own kids though.... I'm hoping I can be an Auntie/Godmother, etc though! :goodvibes

I'm an Auntie but don't get to see my nephew as much as I would like to. My SIL and BIL live 3 hours away so we see him about every other month. Although this is much more than we used to see my SIL before he was born. We tend to make more of an effort to get together as a family which is nice. My BIL is Australian so he has no family over here. My nephew is getting christened the weekend after we get back from DLRP. We can't be Godparents though as my BIL is catholic (he is the head of RE in a catholic school so I guess they had to get him christened catholic) but SIL is CofE so we could not be Godparents.

My sister told me the same when she was expecting my niece, I honoured my part by taking her last year. Now I just need to wait until my nephew is a little bit older:woohoo:

My niece was 18 months when she went, and she loved it.

I agree, even my BIL was surprised at how much my niece loved it:thumbsup2
